About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The T-HYNET project, led by Repsol, involves deploying a first-of-a-kind 150 MW alkaline electrolyser at the Repsol Industrial Complex in Tarragona, Spain, to produce up to 2.7 tonnes of renewable hydrogen and 21.4 tonnes of oxygen per hour for local industrial off-takers and future mobility applications. It features innovations in electrolyser technology, digital optimization, oxygen reuse, and water efficiency, currently in the engineering phase with start-up planned for 2028. The project is expected to avoid up to 200,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">63</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">10</argument></grok:render>
