About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
TSMC inaugurated its Taichung Zero Waste Manufacturing Center in November 2024, featuring recycling facilities for fluoride, silica, solvents, and isopropanol. This on-site circular economy project reduces outsourced waste processing and associated emissions from TSMC's Central Taiwan Science Park operations. Evidence: "reduce TSMC's outsourced waste processing by 130,000 metric tons each year ... cutting carbon emissions by 40,000 metric tons" — https://pr.tsmc.com/english/news/3189
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
