About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Enhanced gas recovery through carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) at bp-operated Tangguh LNG facility in Indonesia, including Ubadari gas field development and onshore compression. FID reached in November 2024 by bp and partners; first at-scale CCUS project in Indonesia, with production ramp-up from 2028. Evidence: "Tangguh CCUS aims to be the first CCUS project developed at scale in Indonesia, with potential for sequestering around 15 million tonnes of CO2 from Tangguh’s emissions in its initial phase." — https://www.bp.com/en/global/corporate/news-and-insights/press-releases/bp-and-partners-give-go-ahead-for-tangguh-ucc-project-in-papua-barat-indonesia.html
