About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Repsol is developing an offshore geological CO2 storage facility 45 km off Tarragona, Spain, with capacity for up to 54 Mt CO2, targeting emissions from hard-to-abate industries including chemical and cement plants in the region. The project is coordinated by Repsol Exploracion SA and received EU Innovation Fund support to enable insetting of emissions in Repsol's value chain and local industrial operations. Evidence: "TarraCO2-Storage aims to unlock 54 million tonnes (Mt) of CO2 storage capacity for hard-to-abate industries in North-Eastern Spain." — https://ec.europa.eu/assets/cinea/project_fiches/innovation_fund/101191313.pdf
