About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Brouchy Agrivoltaic Canopy is a 2.9 MWp innovative solar structure installed over 3 hectares of field crops in Brouchy, France, featuring a 5-meter-high shade house with wide-span cable design and independently controlled rotating panels. It provides dynamic shading to mitigate climate stress on crops, optimizes photovoltaic energy production using bifacial modules and tracking, and integrates intelligent irrigation to reduce water use by up to 30%. Operational since 2023, the project enhances agricultural productivity, biodiversity, and offsets 1596 metric tons of CO2e emissions annually.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
