About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Eavor-Loop at Geretsried, Germany, is the world's first commercial-scale closed-loop geothermal project, featuring a large underground radiator at 4,500 meters depth. It uses a natural thermosiphon to circulate fresh water, extracting heat without pumps, aquifers, fracking, or earthquake risks. The system provides dispatchable baseload renewable heat and power with zero operational GHG emissions, avoiding nearly 100% of emissions compared to reference scenarios.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
