About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Teck Resources is operating a carbon capture utilization and storage pilot at its Trail lead-zinc-silver smelter in British Columbia to capture process emissions from its own operations. The project supports Teck's net-zero Scope 1 and 2 targets by 2050 and 33% carbon intensity reduction by 2030. If successful, it could scale to capture over 100,000 tonnes of CO2 annually. Evidence: "Teck Resources Ltd. will attempt to capture carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions from its lead, zinc and silver smelter in Trail, B.C. by the middle of 2023" — https://www.teck.com/news/news-releases/2022/teck-announces-carbon-capture-utilization-and-storage-plant-pilot
