About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

BAE Systems signed a corporate power purchase agreement (CPPA) with EDF to source renewable electricity from the 49.9 MW Tye Lane solar farm in Suffolk, UK. The agreement supports construction of the solar farm and will supply enough clean energy to meet around 15% of BAE Systems' current UK electricity demand, contributing to Scope 2 emission reductions. The solar farm is under construction and scheduled to complete in Spring 2026. Evidence: "Two new CPPAs will supply BAE Systems and NatWest with renewable electricity from the Tye Lane solar farm." — https://www.edfenergy.com/media-centre/edf-power-solutions-uk-secures-solar-cppas-bae-systems-and-natwest
