About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
UnitedHealth Group entered its first virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with Ørsted for 250 MW of renewable energy capacity. It also made a tax equity investment in Swift Current Energy's 260 MW Tres Bahias solar project in Texas. These contracted renewables support the company's targets to source 100% renewable electricity and reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 60% by 2030. Evidence: "UnitedHealth Group is advancing a sustainable future through two new renewable energy initiatives: a 15-year virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with Ørsted and a separate investment in a renewable solar project owned by Swift Current Energy." — https://www.unitedhealthgroup.com/newsroom/posts/2024/2024-03-26-uhg-launches-renewable-energy-investments.html
