About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Wienerberger replaced its gas-fired kiln at the Uttendorf plant in Upper Austria with the world's largest industrial-scale electric kiln powered by green electricity, including on-site PV. This electrification project reduces the plant's CO2 emissions by 90% and energy consumption by one-third. Evidence: "The centerpiece of the project is the world’s first industrial-scale electric kiln for brick firing driven by green electricity." — https://www.wienerberger.com/en/stories/2024/20241204-GreenBricks-Electric-Kiln-Revolutionizes-Brick-Production.html
