Eicher Motors operates a 13 MW group captive solar power plant at its Vallam manufacturing unit to supply renewable electricity for Royal Enfield motorcycle production operations. The plant generated approximately 19.3 million kWh in FY 2022-23, meeting about 60% of the unit's energy needs and contributing to an 84% renewable electricity share across Royal Enfield operations. This on-site renewable project reduces Scope 2 emissions in the company's own manufacturing value chain.
