About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Enel hybridized its Venaus hydroelectric plant in Italy with the company's first floating photovoltaic system worldwide, consisting of bifacial panels producing about 1,200 MWh annually. The system reduces water evaporation, improves panel efficiency, and powers an integrated automated desedimentation system for the basin. Evidence: "Enel inaugurated today an innovative desedimentation project integrated with the Venaus floating photovoltaic system in the Italian Region of Piedmont, the first floating solar system ever built by the Group" — https://www.enel.com/media/explore/search-press-releases/press/2025/09/enel-innovation-meets-sustainability-at-venaus-
