Vonovia partnered with EnerCube and DFA Demonstrationsfabrik Aachen to develop and mass-produce compact heat pump cubes for multi-family buildings. 29 units are operational, with plans for 1,000 units by 2029 supplying 20,000 residential units across Germany, enabling electrification of heat generation and fossil fuel phase-out. Evidence: "Our focus is on the heat pump cube—currently, 29 units are in operation.
