About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Vordingborg Biofuels project, operated by Green2x, develops a state-of-the-art facility at the port of Vordingborg, Denmark, to produce biofuels including bio-methanol from straw using patented biomass gasification and fermentation technology. The plant will generate biomethane and liquid biofuels to displace fossil fuels in transportation, marine, and industrial applications, achieving up to 85% lower carbon emissions compared to conventional sources. With a planned capacity of approximately 300,000 tons per year, production is expected to begin in late 2028 following environmental approvals and pilot testing.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
