Greif signed a 12-year virtual power purchase agreement to purchase approximately 100 GWh per year of renewable solar energy from two solar parks in Soria Province, Castilla y León, Spain. The project offsets an estimated 65% of Greif's Scope 2 emissions in Europe and 3% of combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions globally. It supports Greif's climate strategy through renewable energy procurement.
