About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The WCS Redwater CO2 Recovery Unit captures CO2 generated from hydrogen production at the Nutrien Redwater Fertilizer Facility in Alberta, Canada. The captured CO2 is exported via the Alberta Carbon Trunk Line (ACTL) for permanent sequestration through enhanced oil recovery. Operational since late 2019, the project was expanded in July 2023 to increase capacity by 40%, now capturing and exporting over 800 tonnes of CO2 per day, equivalent to more than 300,000 metric tons annually.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
