About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

K+S is converting the Unterbreizbach and Wintershall sites of the Werra integrated plant to dry electrostatic separation (ESTA) processing methods, discontinuing energy- and wastewater-intensive hot solution and flotation processes. This reduces steam requirements and natural gas use in power plants, cutting CO2 emissions by around 50 percent at these sites while increasing energy efficiency. Evidence: "CO2 emissions are reduced by around 50 percent at the Unterbreizbach and Wintershall sites." — https://www.kpluss.com/en-us/newsroom/press-releases/ks-sets-up-werra-plant-for-the-future/

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
