About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Hormel Foods entered into long-term virtual power purchase agreements (VPPAs) for the Western Trail Wind Farm in northern Texas, alongside other companies. The agreements support the project's development and provide RECs to match electricity use, advancing the company's goal of 100% renewable electricity matching by 2030 and reducing Scope 2 emissions. Evidence: "For the Western Trail Wind Farm north of Abilene, Hormel Foods, along with two other Fortune 500 companies, committed to long-term power purchase agreements for the majority of the electricity generated." — https://www.hormelfoods.com/inspired/story/charting-a-sustainable-energy-future/
