About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Industrial Promotion Services (IPS), the industrial and infrastructure development arm of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development, and Westgass Internasjonal have signed a Joint Development Agreement to develop a green hydrogen based fertilizer production facility. The project aims to produce 200 kt/y of fertilizer, through an agreement of the supply of 100MW renewable energy from a local hydropower plant. This initiative will reduce Uganda's reliance on imported fertilizers and lower annual CO2 emissions by over 200,000 tonnes.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
