About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Sibanye-Stillwater signed a 15-year PPA for 103MW from the Witberg wind energy project in Western Cape, developed by Red Rocket and wheeled via Eskom to its SA operations. Construction started December 2023 with commercial operation targeted for Q4 2025, contributing to Scope 2 decarbonisation. Evidence: "The first renewable project, the Witberg wind energy project, located near Matjiesfontein in the Western Cape province with a contracted capacity of 103 MW, will generate renewable energy and supply the SA operations via a wheeling agreement with Eskom." — https://im-mining.com/2023/12/07/sibanye-stillwater-accelerates-decarbonisation-through-two-more-renewable-energy-projects/
