About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Wizz Air signed an offtake agreement with Firefly Green Fuels to supply up to 525,000 tonnes of SAF derived from sewage sludge to its UK operations starting in 2028 over 15 years. This directly reduces emissions from fuel used in Wizz Air's own flights as part of its net-zero roadmap. Evidence: "Wizz Air has signed an offtake agreement with Firefly since 2023, and their partnership will allow the airline to supply up to 525,000 tonnes of SAF over 15 years to its UK operations from 2028." — https://biofuels-news.com/news/wizz-air-uk-boss-visits-firefly-facilities-to-strengthen-saf-collaboration
