About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
LG Chem invested in utilizing by-product hydrogen generated at the Yeosu plant to reduce fossil fuel use in NCC cracking furnaces. This fuel-switching initiative achieved cumulative carbon reduction of approximately 20,000 tons by 2024. Evidence: "As part of low-carbon fuel conversion in 2023, LG Chem implemented an investment to reduce fossil fuel use in NCC cracking furnaces by utilizing by-product hydrogen generated at the Yeosu plant and achieved cumulative carbon reduction of approximately 20,000 tons by 2024." — https://www.lgchem.com/upload/file/sustainability-reports/2024_LGChem_Sustainability_Report_ENG.pdf
