The Absolut distillery in Sweden has been carbon neutral (Scopes 1 and 2) since 2013 through 100% renewable electricity contracts prioritizing hydropower, energy efficiency measures, fossil fuel reduction, and minimal residual offsetting via tree planting. It is 60% more energy-efficient than the industry average.
