About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Energy Transfer operates Acid Gas Injection (AGI) technology at natural gas treating and processing facilities in New Mexico, West Texas, and South Texas to capture and sequester CO2 from its own operations. This insetting project reduced emissions in Scope 1 by capturing approximately 47,200 metric tons of CO2 in 2024. The technology has been in use at multiple sites and contributes to ongoing emissions reductions. Evidence: "Energy Transfer captured approximately 47,200 metric tons of carbon dioxide in 2024 through Acid Gas Injection (AGI) technology installed at treating and processing facilities located in New Mexico, West Texas and South Texas." — https://www.energytransfer.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/CRR-2024-UPDATE-FN-9-2-25-1.pdf
