About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
At Braskem's PVC plant in Marechal Deodoro, Alagoas, Brazil, a partnership with Veolia replaced natural gas with 100% renewable steam from eucalyptus biomass boilers (capacity ~900,000 tons steam/year) and completed electrification of the refrigeration compressor. The project fully transitioned operations to renewable thermal energy by 2025 after partial supply began in 2023. — https://www.tnh1.com.br/noticia/nid/parceria-entre-braskem-e-veolia-acelera-a-descarbonizacao-e-fortalece-a-transicao-energetica-em-alagoas/
