About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Anhui 300,000-tonne annual output carbon dioxide-based polycarbonate polyol project (Phase I) utilizes CO2 and electrolytic hydrogen from variable renewables to produce polycarbonate polyols for polyurethane applications in the chemicals sector. Phase I has a capacity of 50,000 tonnes of polyol per year, enabling the effective utilization of approximately 26,000 tonnes of CO2 annually. The project, developed by Anhui Putan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., commenced operations in early 2025 and is now fully operational.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
