About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
TC Energy's ANR Pipeline subsidiary is executing the Wisconsin Reliability Project, which includes installation of electric motor compressors with fuel switching capabilities to replace natural gas-powered units on its system. This reduces Scope 1 emissions from TC Energy's own natural gas transmission operations while enhancing reliability. Evidence: "The Project’s facilities include, in part, the installation of electric motor compressors with fuel switching capabilities for additional reliability to replace existing natural gas-powered compressor units along ANR’s system. ... The electrification of horsepower for the Project is expected to result in approximately 43 percent reduction in carbon dioxide equivalent emissions at the source" — https://www.tcenergy.com/announcements/2021/2021-11-05-tc-energy-announces-us$0.8-billion-wr-project
