About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

ARCaDe develops innovative solutions for capturing CO2, reducing NOx and SOx emissions from the Fluid Catalytic Cracking unit at TotalEnergies Refinery Antwerp. The captured CO2 is transported via hybrid LNG barges to Rotterdam for permanent offshore storage in the North Sea, achieving 95% GHG emission avoidance. The project avoids approximately 7.8 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions over its first 10 years, supporting EU net-zero targets for energy-intensive industries.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
