About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

DS Smith partnered with E.ON to build a new waste-to-energy and combined heat and power plant at its Aschaffenburg paper mill in Germany. The plant, due for completion in H2 2025, will save 50,000 tonnes of CO2 per year and reduce the site's reliance on natural gas by 25%. Evidence: "New plant will save 50,000 tonnes of CO2 per year and provide flexibility in energy usage. Site's reliance on natural gas to be reduced by 25%." — https://www.dssmith.com/media/our-stories/2023/1/ds-smith-and-e.on-partner-to-build-new-waste-to-energy-and-combined-heat-and-power-plant-at-aschaffenburg-mill
