About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Bayer partnered with Iberdrola España on a Heat Purchase Agreement (HPA) to electrify steam production at its La Felguera (Langreo), Asturias pharmaceutical plant using 100% renewable electricity, molten salt thermal storage, and a 15 MW system. The €17 million project, supported by PERTE, will decarbonize the site (first in its sector in Spain) and reduce emissions by approximately 6,500-8,000 tCO2 annually, with completion expected by June 2026. Evidence: "Bayer and Iberdrola España have signed the agreement that will allow the electrification of Bayer's production plant in La Felguera, Asturias... The project... will involve an investment of €17 M and is expected to be completed by June 2026... reduce CO2 emissions..." — https://www.iberdrolaespana.com/press-room/news/bayer-confirms-descarbonisation-plant-asturias-electrification
