About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
AvalonBay developed the Avalon Brighton community in Boston, MA, as an all-electric multifamily building featuring cold-climate heat pumps in all units, a 135 kW rooftop solar PV system for common areas, energy recovery ventilators, and high-performance envelope measures. The project achieves a site EUI of approximately 34.5-35.3 kBtu/sf and supports phased future electrification of remaining gas systems. Evidence: "Avalon Brighton in Boston, MA, is a prime example of our progress towards electrification through innovative sustainable design, achieving high-performing electrification in the cold climate of Massachusetts. ... Measures include a 135 kW rooftop solar PV system to offset common area grid electricity use, residential unit cold climate heat pumps..." — https://ims.avalonbay.com/AVB/esg/reports/2024CRReport.pdf
