Avianca has reconfigured more than 100 aircraft (141 total optimized by end of 2024) to increase seat density by 20%, resulting in a 15.35% reduction in CO2 emissions per revenue passenger-kilometer compared to non-reconfigured aircraft. In 2024 alone, 24 aircraft were reconfigured as part of this program.
