About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Komatsu's Awazu assembly plant in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, operates a woody biomass power generation facility using woodchips from local thinned wood to produce electricity, steam, and heating/cooling. The plant also features rooftop solar panels and geothermal systems, achieving a 90% reduction in electrical power consumption from the grid since 2014. Evidence: "The woodchips are burned at Awazu plant’s Woody Biomass Power Generation facility to produce high-pressure steam that generates electricity, as well as hot and cold water used in heating and cooling the plant. Solar panels on the roof add to the self-generated energy that has allowed Awazu to drastically reduce its public power consumption" — https://www.komatsu.com/en-us/blog/2019/using-renewable-energy-power-for-a-sustainable-future
