About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Cargill executed a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) as part of a consortium with Mars for capacity from the BARD Offshore 1 wind farm operated by Ocean Breeze Energy off the coast of Germany. Cargill's portion averages 35 MW and is anticipated to produce 712,000 MWh of clean energy over the 6-plus year term. Evidence: "Earlier this year, through a Renewable Electricity Buyer Consortium, Cargill and Mars executed VPPAs with Ocean Breeze Energy, owner and operator of the Bard Offshore Wind Farm located off the coast of Germany. Over the 6-plus year term of this agreement, Cargill’s portion of this project averages 35 megawatts of capacity and is anticipated to produce 712,000 megawatt hours of clean energy, avoiding greenhouse gas emissions of 442,000 metric tons CO2 equivalent." — https://www.cargill.com/2024/cargill-increases-its-renewable-energy-capacity
