About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
K+S Potash Canada is expanding its combined heat and power (CHP) facility at the Bethune mine with additional natural gas turbines and heat recovery steam generators to improve energy efficiency, reduce GHG emissions, and support production expansion while supplying power to the grid. Evidence: "Cogeneration allows K+S to reduce our GHG footprint, contributing to our global K+S climate targets, enables potash production expansion in Canada." — https://www.saskpower.com/about-us/media-information/news-releases/2026/saskpower-k-s-potash-canada-enter-power-purchase-agreement
