About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Trident Limited increased biomass consumption to 49.29% of total fuel energy mix (389,980 MT in FY 2024-25) across captive power plants at Punjab and Budhni facilities, alongside operating an ICX reactor generating 3 MT of biogas per day from wastewater for boiler use. These measures reduce fossil fuel dependency in own operations. Evidence: "biofuel consumption rose by 18.23% to 3,89,980 MT, representing 49.29% of our total fuel energy mix. We have set up an ICX reactor which converts the biological load content in the wastewater into biogas. This biogas is further used in the Boiler to generate energy. Presently, it generates 3 MT of biogas per day." — https://assets.tridentindia.com/ESG_Fact_Sheet_FY_2024_25_8a73c9962b.pdf
