About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The BioMCN Methanol Plant in Chemical Park Delfzijl, Netherlands, produces bio-methanol using biomass and waste gasification technology, serving the chemicals and plastics sector. Acquired by OCI in 2015 and sold to Methanex Corporation in 2025, it has a production capacity of 413 kt/y. The facility contributes to sustainable fuel production but is currently on hold due to unfavorable natural gas pricing.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
