About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

United Airlines formed a joint venture called Blue Blade Energy with Tallgrass and Green Plains to develop and commercialize novel SAF technology using ethanol feedstock. The JV includes up to $50 million combined investment and an offtake agreement for up to 135 million gallons annually. This supports insetting emissions reductions in United's aviation fuel value chain. Evidence: "United, Tallgrass, and Green Plains Inc. today announced a new joint venture – Blue Blade Energy – to develop and then commercialize a novel Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) technology that uses ethanol as its feedstock." — https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/united-tallgrass-and-green-plains-form-joint-venture-to-develop-new-sustainable-aviation-fuel-technology-using-ethanol-301734695.html
