About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) signed a new seven-year PPA with CleanCo commencing FY2027, the third such agreement, to supply 100% of forecasted electricity needs for Queensland operations from solar, wind and pumped hydro sources. This builds on a 2023 PPA and supports BHP's operational emissions reduction target. Evidence: "BMA has entered into a new seven-year PPA commencing from FY2027 - the third power agreement signed with Queensland’s publicly-owned energy generator and retailer CleanCo - which is expected to allow BMA to meet all of its forecasted electricity needs from sources such as solar, wind and pumped hydro." — https://www.bhp.com/news/media-centre/releases/2024/08/bma-set-to-operate-with-100-per-cent-of-electricity-needs-under-renewable-power-arrangements
