Westpac signed a long-term virtual power purchase agreement with Bomen Solar Farm to procure 63 GWh of renewable electricity annually for its Australian operations. This contracted renewable energy supports Westpac's target of sourcing the equivalent of 100% renewable electricity, directly reducing its Scope 2 emissions. The project became operational and contributed to achieving the milestone ahead of the 2025 schedule.
