About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
PepsiCo entered a commercial agreement with CF Industries for low-carbon urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) fertilizer produced using carbon capture and sequestration and nitric acid plant emissions abatement. The fertilizer will be used by farmers growing potatoes for Frito-Lay brands to reduce emissions in the upstream agricultural value chain. Evidence: "The low-carbon UAN earns a lower carbon intensity from the use of carbon capture and sequestration technologies and other emission reduction methods." — https://www.cfindustries.com/newsroom/2026/low-carbon-uan-pepsico
