About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
ExxonMobil is piloting innovative carbonate fuel cell technology at its own Rotterdam manufacturing site in the Netherlands to capture CO2 from low-concentration emission streams. Supported by EU Innovation Fund grant, the project demonstrates on-site decarbonization for industrial operations while generating electricity, hydrogen, and heat. It aims to reduce 46,000 tonnes CO2 over five years of operation.
