About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Chevron installed a four-acre solar field to power one of its Colorado oil and gas facilities, designed to generate enough renewable energy to meet all the facility’s electricity needs. This on-site renewable project supports Chevron's commitment to powering its operations with renewable sources and is part of $2 billion allocated from 2021 through 2028 for carbon reduction projects. It is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1,000 tons in 2025. Evidence: "It could help Chevron reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1,000 tons in 2025." — https://www.chevron.com/newsroom/2024/q3/sun-rises-on-solar-energy-operations

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
