About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

BHP entered multiple PPAs with Neoen for renewable electricity supply to Olympic Dam, Carrapateena and Prominent Hill operations in South Australia, including a 70 MW agreement operational from July 2025 and a new 100 MW baseload deal from July 2029, expected to meet ~70% of needs from renewables by FY2030. Evidence: "BHP has entered into its third and largest renewable electricity supply arrangement for Copper SA... Under this baseload electricity arrangement, 100 megawatts (MW) of renewable electricity will be supplied to power BHP’s Copper SA province... Combined with the existing Neoen renewable electricity supply arrangement that successfully commenced in July 2025, this new electricity supply arrangement is expected to meet approximately 70% of Copper SA’s electricity needs from renewable electricity in FY2030." — https://www.bhp.com/news/media-centre/releases/2025/09/bhp-powers-ahead-with-third-renewable-electricity-deal-for-copper-sa
