About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
At the Corpus Christi (Ingleside, Texas) manufacturing site producing Opteon YF refrigerant, Chemours implemented a project to return condensed steam to cogeneration operations, increasing condensate return from 17.6% to 57.5%. This energy efficiency initiative delivers annual energy savings of 134,000 MMBTU and over 7,000 tonnes CO2e reduction. Evidence: "The initiative also resulted in substantial energy savings, estimated at 134,000 MMBTU/year, a reduction of over 7,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) annually." — https://www.chemours.com/en/news-media-center/all-news/press-releases/2025/chemours-corpus-christi-site-wins-2025-better-project-award-for-innovative-energy
