About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The DECARBOMALT project planned to build a solar thermal heating plant, heat pumps, and a storage facility to provide renewable heat to Boortmalt's energy-intensive malt production process in Croatia. It aimed to deliver over 50% of the site's process heat needs using innovative combinations of solar thermal energy, heat storage, and heat pumps, offsetting approximately 54% of CO2 emissions from process heat. The project was terminated by the EU Innovation Fund without entering operation.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
