About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

PepsiCo UK signed a 10-year Biomethane Purchase Agreement with ENGIE for biomethane from a new anaerobic digestion plant in northern England. The agreement, starting in 2027, supplies 60 GWh annually via mass balance to decarbonize PepsiCo UK's operations and supply chain through renewable gas. Evidence: "UK's first food and drink industry Biomethane Purchase Agreement expected to help reduce PepsiCo UK's emissions by over 10,900 tonnes a year." — https://en.newsroom.engie.com/news/engie-signs-a-10-year-biomethane-purchase-agreement-with-pepsico-its-first-in-the-united-kingdom-b8ada-314df.html
