About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

EOG Resources initiated a pilot carbon capture and storage (CCS) project to capture and store concentrated CO2 emissions from the processing of its own natural gas at a facility in Texas. The project is led by EOG’s Sustainable Power Group and uses EOG's geological and engineering expertise for injection and monitoring. Initial CO2 injection commenced in 2023 following permitting and construction in 2022. Evidence: "U.S. shale oil firm EOG Resources (EOG.N) said on Friday it aims to begin a carbon dioxide injection program by late 2022 to reduce greenhouse gases from its oil and gas production." — https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/shale-firm-eog-launch-carbon-capture-project-by-late-2022-2021-11-05/
