About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Sibanye-Stillwater secured a 10-year PPA with Etana Energy for 220MW of solar and wind energy wheeled to its mining operations, commencing late 2027. This expands the renewable portfolio and supports ~11% annual GHG emissions reduction alongside cost savings. Evidence: "Under the 10-year agreement, Etana will deliver 220MW of renewable energy per year to Sibanye-Stillwater’s mining operations, commencing in late 2027." — https://africaoilgasreport.com/2026/02/energy-transition/etana-signs-ppa-for-220mw-renewable-energy-with-sibanye-stillwater-mining-group/
