About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Dow is developing the world's first net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions integrated ethylene cracker and derivatives facility at its Fort Saskatchewan site in Alberta, Canada. The project incorporates carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies along with low-carbon cogeneration to decarbonize approximately 20% of Dow's global ethylene capacity. Construction began following final investment decision in 2023, though delayed in 2025 while remaining committed. Evidence: "Dow (NYSE: DOW) announced today its plan to build the world's first net-zero carbon emissions integrated ethylene cracker and derivatives site with respect to scope 1 and 2 carbon dioxide emissions." — https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/dow-announces-plan-to-build-worlds-first-net-zero-carbon-emissions-ethylene-and-derivatives-complex-301393405.html
